An experience of a life-time
14 unique and diverse students have embarked to spend 4 total weeks in Peru as a cultural immersion and sustainable tourism project working together with 6 social entrepreneurs in distinct field.
A distinct, diverse group
They are all students of the University of Redlands, CA, USA (www.redlands.edu) and consist of 11 females and 3 males. Their age groups range from 18-32 with the average age at about 21. Their majors vary tremendously and include Psychology, Education, Spanish, Liberal Studies, Pre-Law, Biology, Art, Art History, etc. Their backgrounds also vary and include roots from: Japan, Hawaii, Mexico, Greece, and the USA.
Universal motivations
Although their backgrounds and interests vary, all these students are highly motivated and ready to learn. Their motivations consist of a yearning to learn and experience more of other cultures as well as contribute to those less fortunate.
