Dr. Ivonne Gordon Vailakis | Professor
Professor of Latin American Literature at the University of Redlands, CA, USA and published poet.  Dr. Vailakis originally comes from Quito, Ecuador and has been taking students to Ecuador since 1997 as a course in May of cultural immersion and volunteering.

Andreas Vailakis | Course Director
Andreas has extensive travel experience and has organized the annual course trips to Ecuador since 2006.  Andreas is in charge of the logistics behind the experience and was responsible for the connection with Ashoka and in developing the relationship and connection with the volunteer sites (the social entrepreneurs).
