Making a sustainable difference
The premise behind the course and experience is that of sustainability. This is a topic that many are learning is essential in creating an impact, especially in the social field. Through a strategic partnership with the organization Ashoka, the students will be introduced and work closely with social entrepreneurs that are leading the field with not only innovative and substantial projects, but those of sustainable, lasting impact. These social entrepreneurs are leading the fields in social innovation and revolutionizing their respective fields.
A lasting impression
It is our goal of the course and experience to leave a lasting impression on minds of the students and to provide them the tools and resources to themselves become innovators and entrepreneurs of their own fields. As cultural immersion and volunteering is a two-way street, we also intend to leave an lasting impression with the social entrepreneurs in that they can gain a broader perspective from the students and learn from the experience. We are also fundamentally supporting sustainable projects and in itself establishing/strengthening a sustainable model of business and support for the projects.
