So we were all a little bumed because on Monday our day at Vicos got cancelled and we had worked really hard on preparing a lesson plan for the day. We were going to be working with special needs kids that also had problems at home, and we had some great activities to help them open up and learn. Instead we went to Tuyu 2 days in a row and helped that teacher with her garden, building a new kitchen, and overall beautification of the place. It was awesome that we got to help this teacher that works all by herself and doesnt have the time or the money to get it done herself. After our work we played pato, pato, ganzo with the kids and they loved it! It has now become our go to game! Tomorrow we are going to harvest potatos, Thrusday we are going to Vicos, and Friday we are harvesting corn. We are all so excited to be able to go to Vicos and hopefully helps the kids and teachers with new ways of learning! Laters!
